Intertextuality The definition of intertexuality is shaping a texts meaning to something else. In my own words I would say intertexuality means interpreting a text into something else. In this case I will be analysing the amount of intertexuality in music videos and see how they compare and contrast to other videos that possibly may have inspired them greatly or took great influences off. This may contain the audio and how the music sounds compared to a song that is very similar. It may also entail how the video is shot depending on what angles the shots are taken from, they may have similar narratives to other videos that they may have took inspiration from. Intertextuality has become quite common and sometimes lead to legal cases of bands and artists suing other bands or artists on copyright grounds due to copying or stealing of material such as songs graphics and general ideas that they may have used as an influence and the original artist may have taken ...
